PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2015
The Town of Houston will hold a Public Hearing, First and Second reading/Possible Adoption of Ordinance 15-01 relating to the adoption of the Town of Houston Budget for FY 2015-2016 and Chapter 175: Fees (including town taxes) for fiscal year 2015-2016 on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 7:00 at the Houston Fire Hall, 143 Broad Street, Houston, DE. The Public is invited to attend this Hearing. The Proposed Budget and Fee Schedule are available to view by contacting Mayor Connie Morgan at Ckmorgan55@gmail.com or (302) 270-9007.
Just a reminder
Chapter 400, Article II, of the CODE of HOUSTON ;
Height of Grass, Growth of Weeds, and Maintenance of Trees and Other Vegetation.
The maximum height for grass is 6" (six inches).
Trees and other vegetation are to be trimmed to a minimum height of
10 ' (ten feet) over sidewalks, and
14' (fourteen feet) over streets or right-of ways.
Article III ; Storage of Detrimental Objects or Materials (Objects unsuitable for outside storage)
Article IV ; External Placement of Interior Furniture
Town officials will periodically check properties and post the property for any violations.
